The Premier of NSW has announced reforms which will significantly change the approach to natural resource management in NSW. One of these reforms is the establishment of thirteen Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs) covering all of NSW. The CMAs engage regional communities in the key natural resource management issues facing their catchment, including developing the catchment action plans that will integrate the existing catchment blueprints, regional vegetation mangement plans and investment strategies.
